Robert has been marbling since 2000. His unique take on the traditional marbling technique is called „Marbled Graphics“. His composition is mostly influenced by the Japanese prints. Water based colours are used on gelatin ground. Robert’s marbling work is characterized by their beautiful velvety colours and fine details.
Vita
Robert Wu is a designer bookbinder and marbler in Toronto, Canada. Robert holds a master’s degree in Architecture from University of Toronto. Wu received his training in bookbinding primary with Tini Miura at Studio Tini and also studied at the American Academy of Bookbinding in USA with Monique Lallier and Canadian Bookbinder’s Guild.
